Week 7 of #365DaysOfTB - Skyscapes

This is the 7th week recap of my 365 days of Tilt Brush daily art challenge. These are 3-D virtual reality immersive paintings. You can find the other weekly series here. During this week I painted a series of skyscapes. A pastel palette ties all these paintings together. If you would like to see more about the paintings click the link following each description.

A pillar cloud stands tall and a storm is on the way in this sky portrait.

Rays of sun burn through the clouds and foreground as an eagle sores through the air in this sunrise painting. Reflections of the soft morning sun hues are in the clouds.. The sky shows a lot of atmosphere by the long tapered brush strokes that fade upwards.

Dark shadowy waves reach the shore, the top of the water shows reflections of the setting sun, and seagulls fly across the scene.

This painting shows the sun bursting through the clouds over a mountain lake. As the sun rays reach the water they dive in and leave ripples of golden water.

A bay community sits in the dark shadows during this sunset and splits the sky and water in this painting.

Blue skies and puffy soft clouds with highlights and shadows are seen while exiting this dark cave. This painting takes place on a mountain top at the middle of the day when the sun is high in the sky.
